π³οΈ DAO Governance: Empowering the Community
Decentralized by Design. Powered by Participation. UDS isnβt governed from the top down β itβs built from the ground up. Every course, every update, every fund allocation is shaped by the very community it serves.
π What Is the UDS DAO?
The United Degen States DAO is the decentralized autonomous organization that governs all core pillars of the UDS ecosystem β from curriculum design and venture funding, to contributor onboarding and treasury allocations.
UDS is more than a school. It's a sovereign digital ecosystem. And youβre a citizen the moment you join.
Every student, mentor, alumni, and contributor can propose ideas, vote on changes, earn contributor roles, and shape the platformβs evolution β transparently and onchain.
π§ Why DAO Governance?
Web3 was founded on the ideals of community ownership, transparency, and permissionless collaboration. UDS applies these principles at every level:
Curriculum upgrades and new module proposals
Venture Fund allocation for builders and students
Capstone grants and DAO-backed contributor bounties
Working group formation and operational compensation
Tooling improvements, platform upgrades, and treasury decisions

π° What Is $UDSC (UDSCoin)?
UDSCoin is the fuel of our DAO β a governance token that gives you a stake in UDSβs evolution.
Token Holders Can:
Vote on platform upgrades and proposals
Submit their own ideas for funding or changes
Elect core contributors and WG leads
Allocate funding to student-led initiatives or public goods

π Governance Philosophy
We believe:
Transparency is non-negotiable. All votes, comments, and proposals are public.
Merit > Credentials. Anyone can propose. Execution earns respect.
Power scales with participation. Governance access increases with contribution β not price.
UDS isn't led by a CEO. It's led by a collective that shows up.
