Each section is organized by theme: learning, governance, funding, security, and more.
🎓 Curriculum & Learning
Is UDS really free?
Absolutely. All our core learning tracks are fully open and cost nothing. We believe access to quality Web3 education should be a right, not a luxury. While some advanced features or premium tracks may unlock additional value, the foundation is always free.
Do I need prior Web3 or coding experience?
Not at all. UDS is built for every level — from absolute beginner to protocol engineer. We start with the basics in Track 1 and let you climb at your own pace. You’ll never be left behind, and our mentors are here to help.
Are live mentorship or cohort sessions available?
Yes. We regularly host AMAs, mentorship calls, Twitter Spaces, and Discord/Telegram study rooms. You can choose to learn solo or join others on a shared schedule — it’s flexible by design.
What happens after I finish all modules?
You’ll enter the Capstone phase — where you apply what you’ve learned by building a real project. That might be an NFT collection, a DAO proposal, a trading bot, or a working dApp. From there, you can apply to our Accelerator or even pitch for DAO funding.
🧾 Certificates & Credentials
Do I get a certificate after completing modules?
Yes! You’ll mint a unique, verifiable NFT certificate from our Minting Station. These NFTs are proof of learning — recorded permanently onchain.
Are UDS certificates recognized by other projects or DAOs?
Yes. Our certificates are already being used in contributor profiles, grant applications, job pitches, and DAO onboarding processes. They’re not just badges — they’re building blocks for your Web3 identity.
Can I share my certificate on LinkedIn or a resume?
Absolutely. Each certificate includes a public link you can share on your social profiles. You’ll also be able to showcase your entire learning history in your UDS Talent Profile, coming soon.
🏛️ DAO & Governance
How do I participate in governance?
Start by earning or acquiring $UDSC tokens — either through learning, contributing, or community programs. Then head to our governance portal to vote on proposals. You can also suggest ideas and co-author new initiatives.
I’ve never joined a DAO before. Is it complicated?
It can feel that way at first, but we’ve made it simple. Begin with our “DAO Fundamentals” module. Join the UDS Telegram or Platform. Ask questions. Governance here is a skill — and like any skill, you get better with practice.
Do I need to reveal my real identity to contribute or vote?
No. Pseudonymity is welcome. Many contributors work through wallets, ENS names, or NFTs. You’ll always have the option to remain anonymous while still earning and participating fully.
Who decides what gets built or funded?
The community. Every key decision — from new learning tracks to Capstone funding — is voted on by $UDSC token holders. It’s not top-down. It’s all of us, together.
💰 Venture Fund & Accelerator
Can I apply for funding through UDS?
Yes — whether you’re a student with a Capstone project, an active contributor, or an outside founder aligned with our mission. You can apply for Micro, Seed, or Growth Grants through the Venture Fund after submitting a proposal.
Is the Accelerator only for students?
No. While students have a direct pipeline into the Accelerator, we also accept outside teams — especially if they’re DAO-active or building something that complements the UDS ecosystem.
What if I have no MVP yet — just an idea?
That’s exactly what the Incubator is for. We’ll help you validate your idea, get feedback, build mockups, and prepare for the next stage. Start there and grow with support.
🧠 Contributions & Roles
How can I contribute to UDS?
Start by completing your first learning track. Then check the Bounty Board or join a Working Group. We welcome writers, coders, researchers, designers, marketers, educators, community builders — and everything in between.
Is there a bounty or reward system?
Yes. Bounties are open tasks funded by the DAO. Anyone can complete one and get paid in $UDSC or USDC depending on the role. We also recognize consistent contributors with badges, reputation, and long-term funding.
How do I become a mentor or instructor?
Once you complete enough tracks and build some experience (e.g. through a Capstone or contribution), you can apply to be a mentor. You’ll be reviewed based on teaching ability, communication, and onchain learning record.
Do contributors get paid?
Yes. UDS isn’t just volunteer-based. We reward contributors with token grants, recurring contributor payments, and sometimes fiat equivalents. All payments are managed transparently by the DAO and multisig.
🔐 Security & Wallets
Do I need a crypto wallet to use UDS?
Yes — for minting certificates, voting, and receiving any contributor rewards. MetaMask (for EVM) or Phantom (for Solana) are good options. Don’t worry — we’ll guide you through setup if you’re new.
Is my personal data safe here?
Yes. We do not collect sensitive info like names or emails unless you provide it. Most interactions are wallet-based, and all contracts are open-source. Your privacy is part of our design.
What should I do if I see a fake UDS token or scam?
Always cross-check smart contract addresses with our GitBook, DAO proposal logs, or verified announcements. If in doubt, ask in the community — our mods are there to help.
🌍 Community & Platforms
Where does the UDS community live?
Primarily on Telegram and Twitter, but we also use Galxe, Crunchbase, and Farcaster. New channels are added as we grow. You’ll always find the core at Linktree.
Are there offline meetups or events?
Yes. We organize occasional community meetups, governance summits, and workshops — especially when our members cluster in the same city or region. Watch for announcements.
What’s the best way to stay updated?
Join our announcement channel on Telegram, follow us on Twitter/X, subscribe to GitBook updates, and check the governance feed weekly. We keep things clean and low-noise.
🧩 Troubleshooting & Support
Something’s broken — what do I do?
Use our Support Request Form or message a moderator in the Telegram. Please include screenshots and any relevant links so we can help quickly.
I can't mint my certificate or connect my wallet.
Make sure you’re using the right browser/network. Try a hard refresh or clearing cache. If the issue persists, contact us through Discord, TG, or the help section in the Minting Station.
I submitted a proposal but no one responded.
Governance cycles usually last 3–7 days. If your proposal hasn’t been acknowledged, tag the Governance Working Group or ping a moderator. Sometimes things get missed — but we’re here to support.
